Accommodation is serviced daily (except bungalows on Sunday) by our experienced housekeepers to ensure your stay is restful and relaxing.
We also have a mix of rooms for both families and adults alike. In order to guarantee the room type of your choice it is advisable to book early to avoid disappointment.
CHOOSING YOUR ACCOMMODATION
BUNGALOWS
We have a selection of bungalow accommodation, suitable for couples, single Guests or families during Weekends, High Days and Holidays. All bungalows have private facilities, central heating, tea/coffee making facilities, colour TV with satellite, guest soap and towels to make it home from home for your comfort. We have two bungalows that are designed for wheelchair accessibility and have adapted bathrooms.
HOTEL ACCOMMODATION
The main Potters Hotel was fully completed in 2001, whilst a new extension to the hotel was completed in the spring of 2008 to cater for the demand for these rooms. They offer four standards of quality accommodation from Premier Rooms to Four Poster Suites on the ground and first floors, whilst Penthouse Suites are located on the second floor with sea views. All hotel rooms are very spacious and welcoming, offering you the ideal retreat for a quiet afternoon of relaxation. All rooms have a balcony (except the single rooms), television, trouser press, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities, drink coolers and luxury bathroom incorporating bath with shower, wc, wash basin and guest toiletries.
At the time of booking we allocate a room(s) of the type requested. If you have a special request regarding location we will endeavour to make every effort to ensure these are met but we cannot guarantee a specific room for a variety of operational reasons. Our Hotel has four bedrooms that have wider access doors for wheelchair users but the bathrooms only have a bath with overhead shower.
For 1 Adult
We have a number of bungalows that are located in the centre of the complex, each with one room plus a bathroom incorporating a bath with shower or shower only. Around 10% of all our rooms are designed and let for single occupancy without supplement, however, once these single rooms have been allocated we can offer a limited number of two person bungalows but these will carry an under occupancy supplement of £20 per night. Some guests may choose to pay an under occupancy supplement in order to guarantee a single room nearer to the main facilities.
For 2 Adults
We can offer you either twin or double bungalow accommodation. The twin bungalows have two single beds in one bedroom plus a bathroom incorporating a bath with shower or shower only and are located throughout the complex. The double bungalows have one double bed in the bedroom plus a bathroom and are located in the centre of the Bungalow Resort.
For 2 Adults and 1 child These one bedroom bungalows contain three single beds and a bathroom.
For 2 adults and 2 children We have a range of family rooms made up of one unit with two bedrooms with either twin or double beds (please ask at the time of making your reservation). These bungalows have one bathroom incorporating a bath with shower. Some bungalows have space for a cot. Occasionally these are used for three adults.
For 3/4 Adults or 2 adults and teenage children These family bungalows are made up of one unit with two bedrooms, each with a separate entrance and bathroom (some second bathrooms only have showers). The communicating door between the bedrooms is lockable when used by adults. The separate entrance makes these unsuitable for younger children.
NEW FOR 2008 Upgrade to
Bungalow Plus.This grade of accommodation offers enhanced comfort and contemporary decor, with the addition of a flat screen TV and hairdryer. The supplement on the standard Bungalow price is only £4 per person per night.
Bungalows for larger parties
We only have a limited amount of larger family accommodation or suitable interconnecting rooms, so please do reserve these at an early stage.
Premier Room for 1/2/3 Adults – Supplement £15*
These are very popular with our regular Guests as the rooms are spacious, well fitted and offer exceptional value. The Premier rooms have an occasional table and chairs plus balcony.
We have a small comfortable new single room in the hotel that carries the normal Premier supplement, and a larger single with an extra supplement of £20 per night.
Neither of these single rooms have a balcony. All other hotel rooms designed for 2 adults but used for 1 adult will carry an additional supplement of 50% of your Break price.
Premier Deluxe Room 2/3 Adults – Supplement £17.50*
These are even larger than the Premier rooms and have a coffee table and three piece suite to ensure full relaxation after a busy day of activities.
All Premier and Deluxe rooms are twin bedded however as they
are ‘zip & link’ we can arrange for these to be made into double
beds if pre-booked.
Premier Suite (Four Poster Bed) for Adults Only – Supplement £20* Some suites can accommodate children in interconnecting Premier rooms. With only five Suites, these rooms are always popular especially with our weekend Guests. Step into the Suite with its Four Poster bed, three piece suite, dining table/chairs and large TV screen. Relax before dinner in the soothing Jacuzzi bath.
Penthouse Suite for 2/4 Adults and 2 children – Supplements see text
We have one Penthouse Suite that interconnects with a smaller bedroom and although decorated in similar design the room is ideal for children or two friends of the Guests in the Penthouse Suite. The smaller bedroom only has a shower opposed to a Jacuzzi bath.
The Penthouse supplements are charged at £25 per person per night and the smaller room at the deluxe room rate of £15 per person per night.
Children in the Hotel
Two adults and two children are welcome in the inter-connecting bedrooms, and two adults with one child in a room with an extra bed. The Hotel is designed for adults and therefore all children are charged the over 9 Break price plus the appropriate hotel room supplements.
However, in the new hotel extension we have a small number of family Premier Rooms suitable for those with younger children for which the 2-8 year old price, plus the hotel Premier supplement applies.
