Wagner Fiuza-Carrilho is a Brazilian born retired P.E teacher and karate enthusiast. Fiuza-Carrilho previously owned a martial arts and dance gym in Cradley Heath before becoming a P.E. teacher for a year at Leasowes Community College, he has also worked for a conservatory fitting company. In 2010 Wagner auditioned for the X-Factor and won a place at Bootcamp. Progressing to the final stages of the competition as Louis Walsh's Wild Card, Wagner proved himself to be one of the most entertaining contestants, making it all the way to week 9. During his time on the show Wagner became famous for his medley performances and unique twists on popular music. His songs included: O Fortuna/Meatloaf's Bat out of Hell, Elvis Presley's Viva Las Vegas, Tom Jones' Just Help Yourself, The Beatles' Hippy Hippy Shake/Hey Jude, Radiohead's Creep, Elton John's I'm Still Standing/The Circle of Life and Robert Palmer's Addicted to Love.
