Bowls Breaks
From September to mid May, Potters hosts Midweek Bowling Breaks. Our Bowling facilities are second to none, including 14 indoor and 11 outdoor rinks.
Whether you book as an individual or a party, Bowling Tournaments are included but that's not all - you can use the great facilities on the Resort and even join in the great daytime entertainment programme. Remember to visit our Themed Breaks if you are a Short Mat or Carpet Bowler.
To join in the indoor tournaments, you just need to inform us at the time of making your reservation and register when you arrive on Monday by 5pm. You will require 2 woods (free loan woods and shoes are always available) as we play mixed ‘fours' and most Guests play in greys. You do not have to be in a four as we create friendly teams so anyone can join in. You may wish to use 4 woods in roll ups, which are subject to rink availability.
During the summer we have 11 outdoor and 8 indoor rinks that are available to our Guests for roll ups. It is only where we have an Outdoor Tournament that roll ups may be restricted.
Potters hosts a number of Short Mat and Carpet Bowls Breaks. Some of these are open to any Guest that informs us at the time of making their reservation that they wish to enter and other are run by Counties or National Associations for their Members.
We have 20 Short Mats and 20 Carpets and these are laid on our famous Bowls Arenas. In additional we have 6 specially constructed outdoor Short Mat Rinks that are made of state of the art artificial grass.
