After many successful years flying to the Athena Beach Hotel in the resort of Paphos, Potters Holidays have extended their range of Holidays available for this year. Of course we still feature the exclusive ‘Potters Festival Weeks' with entertainers and Resort staff being flown over from the UK, but in addition we have introduced variable holiday durations as well as a great value 21 night extended Christmas Holiday.
Whether you select a Potters Festival Week, a Festival with an extended stay or one of our other holidays, they all include daytime flights with Cyprus Airways from Stansted (unless other UK airports are requested), all airport taxes & fuel supplements and meals. We have even negotiated extra luggage allowance for bowlers to be able to take two woods.

THE ATHENA BEACH HOTEL
We have carefully chosen the elegant seafront resort of the Athena Beach because of its true offering of luxury and style, it is like an oasis with landscape gardens right on the sea. Located a short bus ride away, or a relaxing walk of just over a mile, is the old town of Paphos, with its delightful harbour, shops and bars. Paphos, on the West Coast of Cyprus, has a wealth of history on its doorstep and the genuine Cypriot hospitality will delight and surprise you. Standard hotel rooms are of a high quality, but have an inland outlook.
The Athena Beach Hotel was originally selected by John Potter for our first overseas holiday, as he could see Potters Guests would experience the friendly professional service they are accustomed to at Potters Leisure Resort. The food is always of a high standard and we have included Dinner and a full cooked Breakfast in our holiday prices.
The elegant sea front hotel has landscaped gardens with direct access to the beach and clear Mediterranean Sea. This Hotel is graded Four Star Superior and is considered by many to be the best Bowling Hotel in Cyprus.
The three outdoor swimming pools (one of which is heated) are shaped around islands with palm trees to blend into the lawns and gardens. With the added waterslide, Jacuzzi and sun lounges on the lawns it is a prefect place to relax. When you wish to be more active you can use the outdoor facilities that include, floodlit tennis courts, mini golf, volleyball and shuffleboard.
Inside the hotel there is a heated pool with Jacuzzi and fully equipped Health Club as well as Table Tennis, Games and Card Rooms.
POTTERS FESTIVAL WEEKS
These weeks are ideal for Leisure Guests looking for a relaxing holiday in the sun or for bowlers, keen to compete in our tournament.
As always with Potters the cost of your bowling during the tournament week is included in the price of your holiday. Our Bowling Tournaments are exclusively for Potters Guests and they are organised by Mark Hedges and Anglia Bowls.
With up to 14 rinks available to Potters we will guarantee all bowlers at least 3 Round Robin games in Teams of 4, plus Roll Ups and Spoon Drives in the evenings under floodlights. All competitions will use 2 woods and the dress code is entirely optional, but many play in ‘whites'. Of course, those opting for longer holiday durations can organise Rollups locally with the hotel.

GROUP BOOKING BENEFITS
As a reward for organising a Group, Potters Holidays award the following Group Savings:
• Half a free place with every 10 paying Guests (11th is awarded the half price place)
• One free place with every 20 paying Guests (21st is free)
In addition to the Free Place offers, and for Groups of 20 or more, we will award:
• £25 off per person on 7night holidays
• £35 off per person 9/10/11/12 night holidays
• £50 off per person 14 or more night holidays
Group Leaders can distribute the savings and free places as they choose.
We send Group Leaders a Group Booking Form to assist them in collecting names. They need to return this to us along with their deposit of £100 per person to confirm their reservation.
Each Group Booking needs to be handled by one Group Leader. The Group Leader is responsible for the entire group booking and is the only person permitted to make amendments.
We are able to provisionally ‘hold' flights and accommodation whilst Group Leaders collect names and Deposits.
It is the Group Leaders responsibility to give us their Guests names AS PER PASSPORT, to collect deposits and balances and to distribute tickets.

Potters Holidays are now able to offer flights to Potters from many regional UK airports into Norwich, in partnership with Flybe. Depending on numbers we may also be able to offer free transfers from the airport to the Resort.
