Travel during the closures
Lowestoft will still be open as usual during the bridge closures but journeys on some roads could be severely disrupted.
For those travelling on the A11/A14 to Norwich onto the A47 to Great Yarmouth and then the A12 down to Potters, there should be no disruption to your journey apart from a likely increase in traffic due to others using this route during this period.
For those travelling through Lowestoft on the A12 then there is predicted to be severe congestion, but diversions will be in operation and will be clearly signed.
