At weekends our Entertainment Breaks are perfect for Social Clubs and Company get-togethers, here we can often help with a drinks reception or even a private Gala Dinner and extra activities – if you have the time to fit them in!
Midweeks from September to July see Bowls, Sports and Social Clubs joining together on our Designed for Adult Leisure and Bowling Breaks.
We have a
specialist Team trained to work with Group Organisers and with 300 Clubs arriving this year and many more that visit when they travel to East Anglia Potters is well placed to support new organisers.
Coach and Tour Operators have their own Team that understands both markets in the way the trade prefers. We also handle many other large bookings often for Family Celebrations where it may be the first time that the family member has ever organised such a large and important event, so if you prefer we can have one or two of our Team Members as their regular contact. Groups are welcome on many of our Theme Breaks please ask for details.

Midweek Leisure and Bowls Groups are available from September to late July excluding School Holiday periods and January in view of the Potters Holidays World Indoor Bowling Championships
Weekend Leisure Breaks are available all year including the Summer Holidays
NEW OR EXTRA THEMED BREAKS are also available all year subject to availability of public areas.
Midweek Leisure and Bowls
We welcome Groups and always strive to achieve a fair balance between treating all those on group Bookings as individual Guests and providing large discounts. We also understand that each Group Organiser has there own individual requirements. If you do not know Potters and are thinking of bringing a Group from a Club we prefer that you visit as our Guest so we can show you the Resort and explain how we work. We can send you details by post but we know from experience that once a Group Organiser visits us they normally say “Potters is definitely right for my Group” and they can promote the Break with confidence.
Discounts apply to Bungalow Accommodation Only
• Group Discounts only apply to Bungalow Accommodation as our hotel is greatly in demand. However Group Free Places are calculated dependant on your total Group Size, including guests in both Hotel and Bungalow accommodation.
• Discounts based on the whole Group taking Group Cancellation Protection priced at £5 per person.
• Potters Leisure Resort allows you to replace guests that have to cancel without an amendment fee.
• Please call to check savings and free places apply on your preferred date.
• Savings are not available in conjunction with any other offers.
• At Potters single supplements are not charged on 10% of your accommodation, except where a twin
or double is requested for sole occupancy when the supplement is £20pppn.
• We can provide personalised full colour promotional material and other marketing support, if required.

Weekend Leisure Breaks are available year round. From May to July and at some other times of the year we floor over the Bowlers Bar Arena giving us a huge useable floor around 100ft by 100ft. This is already used for Indoor Sports Championships and Dancing but it could be used by clubs for many other uses as well, we would welcome discussions with event organisers but please note it is only available for Resident Guests not for day visitors. For those companies wishing to do Team Building or to Reward their Team, Potters Weekends are ideal.
Themed Breaks that allow Guests to participate in their hobby or interest are a growing market at Potters. Many Guests like being able to come away with their family or friends in the knowledge that there will be activities and facilities for everyone whilst they participate in their interest. At meal times and in the evenings they can all get-together making a Potters Theme Break a real holiday. Coach and Tour Operators bring Guests to Potters on a range of Breaks and for day trips during the World Bowls Championships. We do limit the number of companies we work with preferring to have committed partners covering a geographic or Special Interest Area. Groups of Family and Friends have selected Potters for years as it is such a great place to get-together. The comment we hear so often is “The atmosphere is so relaxed at Potters because any person in our party can join in with all the activities and meals, as they are included in the Break". Everyone’s requirements are different so please call Potters and ask for a Team Leader who will discuss the options with you. When you progress to making a reservation they will appoint a Team Member to handle your booking through to your arrival.
