The Health & Safety of our entire community is our first priority at this time.
Whilst we were the first in our industry to close the Resort to assist the government requests, we were at that time able to continue running our busy call centre full of people to serve you.
With this latest instruction for people to stay at home and protect our national health service, this has curtailed our ability to serve you as we have had to do the right thing and close this busy and crowded call centre, in order to reduce the risk to our teams, and their families, and protect the demands on the NHS, for all our sakes.
We are currently setting up teams to work from home and will be getting back some ability to serve in the near future. At the same time, we must also protect your sensitive information, and you will understand that accessing your sensitive data and processing transactions at volume, with the complexity of our systems, is very challenging indeed during this lockdown period, with a skeleton team working from home.
We, therefore, ask for your understanding, as we all do our bit to reduce the pressure on the health service. We have maintained and are manning some emergency lines coming into the business, please only call in absolute emergencies.
We assure all our guests with bookings, that we intend to honour our commitments to you with either a transfer to something to look forward to, or a refund. We will be contacting everyone in due course in order of the break date and the date booked, but please understand that with the volumes and complexities, this may take some time to get to everyone.
We are mindful of the impact this extraordinary crisis is having in all our lives. We have received many hundreds of Facebook posts, tweets and emails wishing the Resort and our team well. This has been both humbling and reassuring, and we cannot thank you enough for your best wishes and support.
As a family run business that has weathered many storms in the last 100 years, we look forward to the day when we open our doors once again and welcome you, the most wonderful guests in the world, back to Potters Resort.
