Potters Theatre Company, Mark Brewer and named acts

Due to the incredible demands of Potters entertainment programme we reserve the same rights as all professional theatres in that we cannot guarantee that any individual principal in the Potters Theatre Company, or featured named entertainers including Mark Brewer, will be able to appear on every show or on every Break. We can however guarantee a thoroughly professional production every time the curtain goes up in the Atlas Theatre. All reservations are accepted under the above condition and whilst artistes featured have been contracted in good faith, in circumstances beyond our control we reserve the right to substitute another act/artiste without prior notice or refund – for full details see our Booking Terms and Conditions.  If you are booking an extended break (break extension), some of our Potters Theatre Company shows might be repeated. Please ask for more information at time of booking.

Cancellation Protection Cover ONLY £7.50 per adult

We understand that sometimes you have to cancel your Break due to unforeseen circumstances. We strongly recommend that Guests take out our Cancellation Protection Cover (£7.50 per adult, free for accompanied children). Those Guests with cover can claim a refund excluding their Deposit and Cancellation Premium providing the reason for cancellation is covered– See Booking Terms and Conditions for full details. Charges as set out in the Booking Terms and Conditions are applied for cancellations of complete bookings, reduction in duration, reduction in number of Guests or a change from adult to child – name changes are allowed with a £6 amendment fee per name change to cover our administration.

Unfortunately those Guests who have not paid for our Cancellation Protection will not be covered for any losses or refunds as a result of unforeseen cancellations for any reasons. We can issue cancellation confirmations for these Guests to make a claim against other Travel Insurance that they may have.

Little extras – free or to hire

Cots and High Chairs. We have a number of these available without a supplement if pre-booked. Most of our cots are modern net sided travel cots but not all our rooms are suitable for a cot to be added, please ask when making your original reservation. Refrigerators – £2.50 per day (included in Bungalow Plus accommodation). Some Hotel rooms have drink coolers however, these are not as cold as a refrigerator and therefore may be unsuitable for some medicines. Hair dryers are provided in all hotel rooms and Bungalow Plus and for other accommodation can be hired free of charge with a refundable deposit of £10. We do have wheelchairs for hire at only £3 per day with a refundable £20 deposit.

Special Requests

All Special Requests are noted but on the understanding that we cannot guarantee these. If there is a request that you need confirming, say for a medical reason, please discuss it with us prior to making your reservation. These will then be detailed on your holiday confirmation, if they are not please ensure you telephone our Reservations Team before you arrive.


Single Bungalows and Bungalows close to the main Resort Building are in great demand so please do make your request as early as possible. Our single bungalows are located in the centre of the Bungalow Complex, for more details please see the Accommodation section of this website. If you require a bungalow very close to the main facility due to medical conditions, please discuss this with our Reservations Team at the time you check availability. If you have walking difficulties or require any special help please do speak to us at the time you make your reservation.


If you require a special diet please inform us at the time of making your reservation. If your requirements need extra special preparation we will arrange for one of our chefs to discuss these with you. Unless stated otherwise – all Breaks commence with evening meal on the day of arrival and finish after breakfast on the day of departure with the exception of Sunday departures when, although accommodation must be vacated by midday, lunch is included. Arrival dinner is normally available up to 7.45pm and we regret we are unable to serve any meals after this time.

Arrival and Departure Days

Accommodation keys are normally available from 2pm on your day of arrival except on Sundays when accommodation will not normally be available before 5pm and in any event not earlier than 4pm. We cannot release accommodation before this time as we need to ensure that all rooms are properly cleaned and prepared for your arrival.

On your departure day all accommodation must be vacated by 10am (12 midday on Sundays).

Lunches on arrival or departure days are available for those wishing to arrive early or stay on to enjoy the facilities, at £7.95 for adults and £4.95 for Children.

Supplements and prices

All prices are per person per Break and all supplements are per adult and child per night.

What’s included in your Potters Break

At Potters we endeavour to ensure that as much as possible is included in the brochure price. This includes your accommodation, full board (from dinner on night of arrival through to breakfast on day of departure unless specified) and entertainment. Most sports and leisure are included with the exception of a few that either have high consumable items (e.g. Clay Pigeon Shooting) or require specific personnel outside of the normal free activities programme (e.g. the Palms cardio-vascular fitness suite Induction). In addition, machines (including Lockers, Ten Pin, Arcade and coin operated machines), Bingo, retail outlets, drinks and snacks outside of included meals are chargeable. This list is not exhaustive and we reserve the right to amend and add additional optional activities and facilities for your enjoyment, which may be chargeable.

Drinks Inclusive Breaks and Selected Wines served with Dinner Breaks

The term 'Drinks Inclusive Breaks' refers to inclusive drinks from bars only and includes all standard draught beers, selected bottled beers, house wines and single spirits with mixers from 6pm on each night of your stay unless stated otherwise.  Non-standard drinks such as Champagne, Cocktails, some shots and liquors are available to purchase from the bars at half the normal bar tariff during qualifying drink inclusive times. At all other times drinks are chargeable at the standard bar tariff.  Items (including drinks) sold in retail shops, salon, swimming pool etc. are not included.  'Drink Inclusive' does not cover any non-drink items e.g. snacks, sweets, normally chargeable sports, activities, or any non-car retail outlet items.  Guests are required to wear a supplied wrist band in order to qualify for inclusive drinks and assist us to identify you as a resident guest over the age of 18.  Children (under 18's), on Drinks Inclusive Breaks designed for families, will be given a different coloured wristband which will make them eligible for free soft drinks only.  All adults on site are reminded to abide by the law by ensuring that children do not consume alcoholic drinks and any person found offering alcoholic drinks to persons under the age of 18 will be asked to leave the Resort immediately.

On Breaks where 'Selected Wines are served with dinner' pre-selected house wines will be served from the start of meal service until 8pm.  All inclusive wine with dinner must be consumed within the restaurant.

Special Assistance

Important information for guests requiring special assistance, please discuss your requirements with our experienced team

Guests with special needs are asked to discuss their requirements with us prior to making their reservation in order to avoid any misunderstandings that could lead to disappointment. We will be able to advise you on the suitability of our Resort, accommodation and facilities plus discuss any reasonable request for equipment.

Please take the time to consider what information would be useful to us in planning for your stay such as, do you have the ability to walk but cannot negotiate stairs; if you use a wheelchair do you require full access and is the wheelchair a standard size. Do we need to consider any special storage requirements for equipment or medication and if you are bowling can you manage the step on the rinks? If you have visual or hearing impairments or dietary requirements such as gluten free or vegan please do inform us so we are prepared. With over 600 Guests checking-in around the same time our Reception is busy so please do not wait until your arrival to share the above information with us.

Any special arrangements must be agreed at the time of booking and confirmed by you using the designated “Special Requirements” Request Form prior to your arrival and this will be noted on your confirmation. Potters do not accept any liability for any costs incurred for special arrangements not agreed by us and such costs may be forwarded onto you.

Our Resort does not have a resident doctor or nurse and is not equipped to provide special medical attention. If any member of your party requires such attention please do make sure you have adequate arrangements in place prior to making your reservation.

Your safety is our concern, therefore if you are unable to hear a fire alarm, use a wheelchair or cannot descend stairs in the event of an emergency evacuation please discuss our special arrangements.

Bowls Tournaments

During breaks which feature free-to-enter bowls tournaments casual bowling and roll-ups will be restricted. In addition, on Midweeks surrounding Premier League events, casual bowling and roll-ups are unlikely to be available.


In accordance with government legislation smoking is not permitted in any enclosed public space on the resort. For the comfort and benefit of our guests who wish to smoke external covered areas are available.
