New guest Holly gives us her verdict on family breaks at Potters

| 3 min read

Holly Wilson visited us for the first time this summer on one of our fun-filled family breaks. We caught up with her to find out how she got on…

How was your first Potters break?

I loved my Potters break. We tend to go abroad for our holidays but fancied a bit of a change so stayed in England this year and we found out about the Resort through friends. We were blessed with amazing weather the week we visited Potters, reaching about 35 degrees, so spent lots of time on the beach, which was lovely and clean. I came with my family - my mum, stepdad, and two brothers, and we all had a brilliant time.

What activities did you do?

We did lots of activities such as Segway, table tennis, welly wanging and swimming to name a few and there is so much to do. The fun activities set-up such as Challenge Us and the pub games got me doing so many silly things, such as fishing skittles out of custard with my mouth, and really put a smile on my face!

What is your best memory from your break?

Our trip was made really special by the entertainments team. Due to being 17, I found that I was around the same age as those in the team. They were very welcoming and we all spent an evening together, beyond their working hours, in Buzby’s Basement, which was great! Definitely my favourite memory from the trip. I made some great friends on the team including Sol, Olivia, Rihanna and James, just to name a few. I hope to stay in contact with them and they are a real credit to the company.

What did you think of our evening entertainment?

The Potters Theatre Company are so talented and after a jam-packed day it was nice to sit down and watch them perform. The late night entertainment was also good with experienced singers.

Did you enjoy the food?

The food was lovely…lunch and dinner are three course meals and every dish we had was perfect. The desserts were amazing! Occasionally I wasn’t able to make breakfast due to sleeping too long, but there was always enough food, not mentioning the midnight dish every night!

How would you describe Potters to friends?

In a few words Potters can be described as mental but brilliant! We will definitely be coming back and I will be keeping an eye out for vacancies as I would love to work at Potters in the future.

Thanks so much Holly and we hope to see you again soon.
