One of our highest priorities is the health, safety, and security of our guests and team members. COVID-19 has changed the way we live, and we are adjusting our daily operations to fit within the new normal. In response to this, a team of experts have reviewed our existing health and safety processes and developed new safety protocols. These in-depth cleanliness and disinfection protocols ensure your safety and peace of mind throughout your All-Inclusive Potters break.
In all indoor and outdoor spaces, we have rearranged furniture, in groupings of no more than six, to allow physical distancing of at least 2 metres. Your party can sit in comfort, together and, all that we ask is that you do not move chairs or tables and if you do need to, our team is there to help.
For your safety, we have new cleaning protocols in our communal toilets, but with your own personal toilets in your accommodation AND in your own Private Lounge, you are never too far away from a comfort break!
Increased Cleaning and Disinfecting
Our cleaning team has received additional training, paying particular attention to high-touch items. Normally they are our unseen heroes, working through the night to make everything spotless. Now though, you will see them about, as the frequency of cleaning and sanitising has been increased, so do say ‘hello’. All sporting and leisure equipment is sanitised between use, and some activities may require guests to wear PPE, which will be provided.
We have installed protective barriers at Reception. This is for the safety of you and our team. We will keep them clean so that the screens can’t hide our smiles.
We have increased the number of alcohol-based hand-sanitising stations.
Welcome Pack and Room Keys
Your welcome pack will include your room key. Everything handed to you has been prepared to strict hygiene standards.
Your TV remote will be in an individual sealed and protective bag.
All linen will be washed at a higher temperature than normal to ensure optimal disinfection.
We would hate our toiletries to go to waste and so, at the end of your break, please feel free to take any shampoo or soap that you have not used home with you.
All purchases will require touchless payment with a debit or credit card. To minimise the risk of cross-contamination we are unable to accept cash.
Pop In Shop
Our shop will be open but will have strict physical distancing protocols in place and we ask that you do not touch any item unless you intend to buy it. Any items you touch must be handed in at the counter for purchase or disinfection.
Our bars will dispense drinks to our waiting team only. You can order drinks from our waiting team and your order will be delivered to your table. You will be asked to pay for any purchases not included in our All-Inclusive menu of drinks, using a contactless debit or credit card.
Children’s’ Outdoor Play Area
This area is closed for your safety.
Aphrodite Beauty Salon and Palms Health & Fitness Clubs
These facilities will be available to book, but stringent safety and hygiene protocols are in force to ensure your safety. These will be relayed to guests on arrival and when booking these facilities.
Gaming machines have been switched off and are unavailable.
Our team has had intensive additional training to ensure that strict procedures are followed when serving food and beverages. Our new protocols build on our existing 5-Star hygiene rating.
All guests will be issued a wristband on arrival which we ask you to keep visible. This is an added precaution to ensure that visitors and suppliers are identified and their access to the main body of the Resort is restricted.
For the benefit of all our guests, we ask that parents take particular care to ensure that their children understand and abide by the social distancing restrictions and hygiene protocols.
On arrival for your break, all guests will be temperature checked and asked to complete a short health questionnaire. If guests have any concerns for their health we would ask them to make us aware immediately. All of our team members are temperature checked on arrival at work each day.
Will guests need to wear a face covering?
Face coverings are now mandatory in all indoor settings. To ensure we comply, all guests will be required to wear face coverings inside public areas (reception, corridors, staircases, etc.), during beauty treatments, in the Atlas Theatre, and prior to being seated at restaurants, bars and coffee shops.
All of the Potters team are also required to wear face coverings, either a face mask or face shield in all public areas of the Resort.
When are face coverings not necessary?
Guests do not need to wear a face covering in their accommodation or Private Lounge, while playing indoor sports, and whilst eating and drinking in restaurants, bars and coffee shops and anywhere outdoors. Guests also do not need to wear a face covering if they have a valid reason not to. This includes (but is not limited to) physical or mental illness or disability, where wearing a face covering will cause severe distress, and assisting someone who relies on lip reading.
We recommend that guests print the exemption from face covering badge from the government website as a useful way to demonstrate to others that they are exempt.
