After a few years of consistent performances, Jamie Chestney's World Bowls Tour breakthrough came with victory at the 2017 International Open, a year after finishing runner-up to David Gourlay in the same event.
He's made his way towards the top of the Tour rankings the hard way, starting his journey by earning tournament spots through the tough Professional Bowls Association qualifiers before knocking out seeded players in the main draw.
On his first appearance in the World Singles in 2007 he knocked out both Mark Royal and Paul Foster to make the quarter-finals. In 2018 he achieved the World Pairs and World Mixed Pairs double in partnership with Mark Dawes and Lesley Doig, respectively.
